SuperNova Modeling Agency was founded by in 2008 by Billie Jo Mitchell, an artistically multi-talented entrepreneur, who also has a keen eye and passion for the fashion world. She owned and operated a well-known, successful coffee bar in the West Village, NYC where she first drew inspiration for the arts from local eccentrics.

In 2008, the SuperNova vision became a reality when SuperNova was dubbed the predominant Model Staffing agency for brand name promotional events and fashion shows. The reputation to have very high standards for coaching models into works of art became the SuperNova reputation.

The stellar fusion of a world class support team and that of Melissa Delgado, Talent Manager, has proven to be the key elements that will continue define the SuperNova brand. The concept of SuperNova Models derived from the celestial meaning which is synonymous with that of an up and coming Model when they explode on the runway. 

By working  with some of the most respected "Designers" and "Magazines" in the world, SuperNova brand will continue to make its mark in the industry by maintaining “the standard” and always being cognizant of the ever changing fashion industry.
